Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Spatter and go to the Me tab.
  2. Tap Delete account, then tap again to confirm.

This deletes your account and everything in it straight away: your email and login, saved recipes, collections, cook log, notes, photos and grocery list. It can't be undone. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they're overwritten.

Can't use the app?

Email hello@spatter.app from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Delete only some things

You can remove a single recipe from its page (Remove from my kitchen), which also removes your cooks and notes for it, or remove individual cooks and grocery items, without deleting your account.

For Instagram creators

Spatter only reads public posts from Instagram professional accounts, through Meta's official APIs, and always credits and links to you. If you delete a post or make it private, Spatter removes its recipe automatically. To have your content removed sooner, email hello@spatter.app with the post link.
